Blog move

While going through old emails, I saw that I had an email from Multiply.com, my first social media site for family updates. I opened the email and discovered that they are now an ecommerce site. The email stated that I had until December 1, 2012 to export my emails. I quickly downloaded them and imported them to this blog for now. I really need to design this blog since my 2 followers;) could stop by and find that I haven't done a thing with this blog! It's like knowing that folks are coming by your home and you haven't done anything but put some furniture inside with no decor.

Family blogging now

I bit the bug. So many of my friends are blogging about their families, that I became inspired. Here goes!

July 14, 2009

Well, it has truly been a while since my last entry. We've had Nina who turned one this month. I was inspired to return to updating the family through this site when I saw a friend's site and how she has continued to update her family since our children were born. My plan is to make brief updates on what the family is doing as often as possible, along with picking up with videos and photos again.

Today's update: Dajuan Sr-training for the MS 150 and preparing to move the family into a home with more space. Me-training for my second triathlon(sprint). Jr-50% potty trained. He primarily uses the pot that we did most of the training on and has not used the potty away from home at all. When I saw that he was aware of being wet, I set out to train him. He began to show progress after 7 days of talking and visits to the pot every 15-20 minutes. The incentives that I used were a sticker and a Skittle for using the toilet. Our next step is staying dry for 4 hour periods before he gets a sticker. Nina is one and walking when she desires to. Dajuan and I have our 5 year anniversary coming up this month and I am still trying to make travel plans for that. Decisions, decisions......
